Talent & Culture Director, Hello AdornJoyce serves as the CVSHRM President. She has been in HR for more than a decade and on the Board for five years. She enjoys HR because she has the ability to make a significant impact on the organization she works for and the people she supports. Being on the Board has helped Joyce to discover new opportunities rejuvenate her love for HR, to give back, and to building lasting relationships.

Austin Vogler
Human Resources Manager, Republic ServicesAustin works as the Human Resources Manager with Republic Services and has served on our Board of Directors since 2015. As a graduate of Chippewa Valley Technical College and University of Wisconsin - Stout, Austin is rooted in the Midwest and passionate about supporting his company and the HR team! As a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), he values the programing and networking opportunities that CVSHRM provides to the HR Community – and having the opportunity to be a part of the planning and supporting others in the HR Profession is what keeps him as a board member with our chapter! If you'd like to idea share over a cup of coffee, give him a call or send him an email - he is always looking for new ways to learn, grow, and help others do the same!
From 2026-2028, Austin will serve as the President-Elect (VP) for Chippewa Valley SHRM.

Anastasia Stueber
Administrator/Clerk-Treasurer, Village of Lake HallieAnastasia Stueber is a transformational HR leader with a passion for blending strategy, technology, and heart to reimagine how teams work and grow. With a strong foundation in public sector HR, she brings expertise in process improvement, systems design, and ethical AI integration to streamline operations and refocus efforts on what matters most: people. Her work spans from leading equitable hiring initiatives to facilitating AI best practice workshops, always with a future-focused mindset and commitment to execution. Anastasia is SHRM-certified, actively engaged in advancing the HR profession, and was featured in AI Unleashed for her innovative work in government. She proudly serves as a board member, community volunteer, and lifelong learner.

Cassie Petrie
Director of Human Resources, ReforMedicineCassie has been in this wildly unpredictable HR community going on 17 years now. The past 4 of those years as a part of the CVSHRM board. She enjoys HR for the ability to interact with all areas / people within a company and the variety of work that comes across her desk each day! Cassie has met so many phenomenal people by getting involved with the many CVSHRM events and activities. Being part of the board magnified her interactions and she is so grateful for the people she has met throughout this journey!

Chris Lokken
VP, Employee Benefits, Christensen Group InsuranceChris has been involved in the benefits side of HR for over 25 years. He joined the board 2 years ago and enjoys being part of the board because it allows him to expand his horizons and serve the HR community, especially in the Chippewa Valley area. When he was thinking about what he wanted to do when he “grew up”, his goal was never to have a boring, repetitive day that did not challenge him. Well, he has exceeded that goal beyond his wildest imagination!

Samantha Herrera
HR Manager, Johnson Truck BodiesSamantha serves as the Director of Member Communication. Samantha is the HR Manager at Johnson Truck Bodies in Rice Lake, with 15 years of experience in Human Resources field. She holds a SHRM-CP and enjoys bringing a people-focused, approachable energy to HR, helping create a workplace where employees can thrive. Her favorite part about HR is the fact that no two days or people are the same!

Stephanie R May
Skilled Manufacturing Recruiter, SEEK Careers/Staffing, Inc.Stephanie has been in the staffing world for over 13 years and serves as a Skilled Manufacturing Recruiter with SEEK Careers/Staffing. With her OSHA 10 and CSP certifications, she is passionate about helping people find meaningful work and supporting manufacturing companies in the Chippewa Valley. She loves the fast pace of staffing, the variety each day brings, and the chance to positively impact both candidates and clients in our community. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her grandkids or can be found helping in the shop or at the dirt track cheering on her boyfriend in his Late Model.

Jodi Berg
HR Director, RAYUS RadiologyJodi has been in the HR field since 2009 and has been in the Director of Administrative Services role since 2017. She enjoys her time on the board as it gives her the opportunity to consistently network and make connections, develop personally and professionally, as well as make a true difference in the HR community. Jodi enjoys working in the HR field for many of the same reasons as she enjoys being on the board, but she would also mention that it’s a profession that truly offers a variety in the tasks and not a single day is just like another.

Jessica Peterson
Human Resources Manager, Chippewa River Industries, Inc.Jessie is the Human Resources Manager at Chippewa River Industries. She has been a member of CVSHRM since 2022 and has volunteered through the programming committee and SHRM Foundation roles. She has enjoyed the various networking and programming opportunities that have allowed her to get more involved in the HR community. Jessie joined the CVSHRM board this year as the College Relations Director. She is excited to be able to continue service the HR community in Chippewa Valley while partnering with surrounding college HR programs.
